We collect and analyze non-personal information through our website provider ipowerweb.com to evaluate how visitors use our website. Non-personal data we collect may include the following: pages visited within our website, browser type, referring URLs, and IP address.
We use your personal information to provide you with services. Specifically, we use this information to communicate with you. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children, and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Parents and/or guardians have the right to inspect what information, if any, we might have for their child/children at any time by written notice. You also have the right to ask us to delete your child's information at any time, also by written notice.
Before we can collect any personal information from a child under the age of 13, to comply with C.O.P.P.A., we must have on file a written note signed by a parent or guardian stating that we are allowed to obtain personal information from their child, and the child's name must be mentioned in the permission slip along with what information we are allowed to collect. The types of information we may collect are name, address, phone number, and email address. The note must be mailed to the webmaster stating that we have your permission to collect personal information. The address is provided at the bottom of this page. Email is not acceptable.
C.O.P.P.A. does allow a one-time collection of an email address for a child under 13, if the information is deleted from our systems after responding to a request. Parental consent is not necessary for this type of information collection. We may also collect a child's name and/or online contact information without parental consent to protect the security or liability of the site, or to respond to law enforcement, if necessary, but we cannot use the information for any other purpose.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to others. We will not share your information with third parties, except in responding to your specific requests for service. Your permission will be requested when you submit your information or through later correspondence before any information is shared, and we will specify what information we wish to share and with whom we will share it. With your permission, information will only be shared with other Royal Ranger leaders and/or staff members. Your request will determine who we might need to share information with.
We will not use your personal information for a different purpose than the one stated when you provided your information or through the direct correspondence. You also have the right to not provide this data when communicating with us. We will not keep any personal data beyond the time it takes to provide you with service, unless you indicate otherwise.
We value your opinion. If you have comments or questions about this Privacy Statement, please send them to the webmaster.
